The Alvita Infrared ear thermometer enables safe, accurate and fast temperature measurements in the ear. Suitable for both adults and children, the thermometer uses an infrared detector, allowing for non-invasive use in the sensitive ear area. Clear measurements are available in just one second on the large, backlit LCD display. The product also features a fever alarm, audibly warning of excessively high body temperature. It can store up to nine reading results in the built-in memory, enabling easy comparison of temperatures over time. When used with children, the convenient backlit display allows the user to read the thermometer in a darkened room without the need to turn on the lights, thus avoiding the potential to disturb the child. The thermometer is supplied with 20 probe tip covers, a fresh one of which should be used in each reading, enabling a hygienic measurement which prevents the transmission of ear wax to the device.
