Dentemp O.S. One Step is a temporary dental filling with no mixing and no mess. Dentemp One Step is perfect for most dental emergencies - it can be used to replace lost fillings and cement loose caps, crowns and inlays, while providing instant pain relief.
Developed by a dentist, the easy to use formula is safe and strong, and you can eat on it in 60 minutes.
Directions
To replace a lost filling: Wash hands thoroughly. Rinse out cavity with warm water. Do not dry; leave moist. Use applicator to remove a small amount of material from vial, from into a ball with your fingers and press firmly into cavity. Bite down several times to insure proper bite. Remove any excess material. Rinse out mouth well with water. Allow 1 hour to set before eating.
To re-cement loose caps or crowns: Wash hands. Prepare crown by carefully removing as much old cement as possible from inside of the crown. Rinse well. Clean and rinse tooth area with water and leave moist. Fit the crown back on the tooth before applying Dentemp. Make sure it fits properly. If you cannot do this, do not proceed. See your dentist. Use apllicator to remove a small amount of material from vial.Place a thin layer of material (the thickness of 2-3 sheets of paper) on the upper inside wall of the crown.Place crown on wet tooth and press firmly. Bite down several times to insure proper fit. If the bite is not completely comfortable, remove and repeat all steps until the crown feels normal. Remove any excess material. Rinse out mouth well with water. Allow at least 1 hour to set before eating. When replacing a bridge apply Dentemp sparingly to only 1 hollow tooth at each end of the bridge. Dentemp should not be used on implants or posts without dentist's advice.
Ingredients
Calcium sulphate, barium sulphate, dimothoxytetraethylene glycol, zinc oxide, eugenol, ethylmethacrylate polymer.
Cautions
This product should not be used if throbbing pain or swelling in affected area exists. Consult your dentist immediately.
