Optibac Probiotics Babies and Children Sachets are natural supplements that are completely free of sugars, artificial flavours and colourings. Only the strains of highest quality are used in this product that is designed to support digestion and immunity in infants and children. This product is a probiotic and prebiotic supplement that is specially formulated for babies and children. This product contains L. Acidophilus, with Bifidobacterium Infantis and Bifidum, which is the dominant probiotic culture in healthy kids and infants.
Usage Directions:
- For infants from 6 to 12 months: give one sachet per day or as directed
- For children of 12 months and above: give 1 to 2 sachets per day, as needed or as directed
- For pregnant and nursing mothers: take one sachet per day or as directed
- These probiotics are best if consumed with a meal, preferably with breakfast
Side Effects and Precautions:
- Not recommended to give to severely immunosuppressed patients, infants with short bowel syndrome (SBS), post cardiac surgery patients, patients with pancreatitis, patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or patients with blood in the stool
- Allergic reactions may also occur in some extreme cases, if such reactions take place stop consuming the product and consult doctor
