What is a Chiropodist or Podiatrist?

While you will hear both of these terms, it is important to know that there is no real difference between the two terms, with podiatrist deemed to be the current terminology for a role that many people will instantly recognize as a chiropodist. This role focuses on diagnosing and treating a wide range of foot related issues, deformities and disorders. A podiatrist will provide you with professional guidance on how to prevent foot problems from occurring and on how to look after your feet in the most effective manner.

Foot pain can be extremely sore and troubling, which is why we are pleased to offer a wide range of treatments for your feet. Our sessions usually run for thirty minutes and we offer:

It is important to be aware that people suffering from diabetes can suffer from a number of complications with their feet, and this includes a numbing sensation in their foot which can lead to injury and damage. We recommend that people who have diabetes should have their feet assessed on an annual basis to minimize any potential impact or danger. We have specially trained podiatrists who have considerable experience in caring for people with diabetes so you can rest assured that you will be well looked after.

Domiciliary Visits

If you find that you are unable to attend our clinic for treatment, please get in touch and we will do our best to arrange a domiciliary visit to your home or your place of work. We are also pleased to offer a service that provides treatment for people in nursing and residential care homes. We aim to offer a high standard of service to all of our clients, and we appreciate that sometimes our clients are unable to visit us. If this is the case, we aim to visit you and ensure that your feet are being properly looked after.

If you unable to visit the clinic for treatment we are pleased to offer domiciliary visits to either your home or local business establishments. We are also able to provide treatments for nursing and residential care homes. We believe comfort is an important part of treatment and thus with this service we provide the complete range of foot treatment in your own environment, at your convenience.

Foot Check Appointment

If you like the sound of our treatments but you are unsure if you would benefit from treatment, why not book in for a free consultation. This consultation usually takes around 10 minutes and one of our expert podiatrists will assess your feet and offer you an update into the health of your feet. If we believe that you would benefit from further treatment, we will inform you and you can decide if you would like to receive further treatment from us.
